Harry Potter & The Sorcorers Stone.

I was mostly in a modeling capacity on this production, but got the chance to animate the initial appearance of Voldemort through the back of Professor Quirrel's head. Looking back at this now, I'd love to go back in and have another pass at it. Oh well, here it is anyway ...

Harry Potter & The Chamber Of Secrets.

I got the opportunity to work on my first full-on speaking character in Dobby. A whole lot of fun and loads of great learning went on.

Harry Potter & The Goblet Of Fire.

What can be more fun than animating dragons, especially when it's as cool as the Horntail was? Many thanks to Anim Supe Steve Rawlins for his guidance and attention to detail.

Star Wars EpIII: The Revenge Of The Sith .

A large chunk of my career so far at ILM has been spent in the Star Wars universe. After modeling on Ep1 (& spending 3 months in the Jak Art dept with uber model supe Geoff Campbell), & texture painting on EpII, I spent my time animating on EpIII. The majority of my time was spent bringing General Grevious to life, as well as the cornicopea of background characters you find in any Star Wars film. Rob Coleman as the Anim Supe was pure fun.

VanHelsing.

Van helsing gave me the opportunity to model and animate a key creature, in this case the Velkan werewolf. Without doubt the hardest shot I worked on was the transformation - the animation was one thing (matching to the actors preformance), the shape work involved was quite another. It got to a point where I was pretty much resculpting poses per frame, with a gazillion shapes working over the top of that to have each muscle transform. Thanks to Keiji for his scaleable rig, and first of it's kind skin tearing, flesh flying, cloth shredding glory. The one vampire shot in these clips I was responsible for animating just the one on the left who grabs the spinning wheel;the other was animated by Sharonne Solk.
